Come race at the cross-country course atop the hill at McInnis Park this summer. The short course mountain bike race format makes for exciting racing and great spectating. The action happens for six Tuesday evenings in a row starting May 27th and ending July 1st. Compete in all 6 races for the series title!
Entrance fee is $10 per race. Register at Summit Bicycles in San Rafael or register on site the day of the race starting at 5:00PM. Racers under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. Waiver for printing out available here. Minimum age for racing is 14.
Directions:
Take the Smith Ranch Road (same exit as Lucas Valley Rd.) exit from 101. Head East to the McInnis Park entrance. Turn left just before the park entrance. Follow signs to the skate park, park in the dirt parking area just next to the skate park parking lot.
Three categories of racers:
C - Beginner racers race for approximately 25 minutes
starting at 5:30PM.
B - Intermediate racers race for approximately 30 minutes
at 6:10PM.
A - Advanced racers race for approximately 35 minutes
starting at 7PM.
Racers must wear an approved bicycle helmet.
Pre-riding allowed only on race day.
No smoking or consumption of alcohol allowed in the park.
No bikes in the skate park!
